After far too long, Radiohead are showing themselves for who they truly are, without too many frills.
It is a simple album, not particularly distinctive, but finally it reveals the true essence of the group, that is pop. It mainly consists of electronic ballads - nothing particularly original - where the unease and alienation (themes that albums like Amnesiac, Ok Computer used to refer to) seem to have disappeared, replaced by an apparent calm (a sign of the band's maturity?).
I think it is the band's best work, Yorke's onanistic dream; but it matters little, since it is a decently arranged album.

No use: everything got lost behind elaborated and skillfully distorted sound-design... but at the same time uninteresting and much less memorable.
