Forgive me, but this review will be a bit self-referential. A few days ago I spoke very well of “Kid A,” and although it's well known to be a great album, the comments below accused me of being a bit of an idiot. Well, I admit that in hindsight a vague provocative aftertaste could be seen in the review, but I believe this stems from a fundamental misunderstanding between author and consumer - respectively me and you, in this case. The way I see it, a pop review in 2018 should be a subjective and enjoyable narrative of the album, without forgetting that in the end, we are all human and vaccinated, and that the sky outside is blue when it's clear and it's a summer afternoon. I mean, there is OBJECTIVITY, but everyone sees things a bit as they want, or as they spontaneously appear to them, and they do it totally in good faith.
All this is to say that you can't blame me if when I listen to “Ok Computer,” all I see in front of me is an immense grey-shit colored panel. The Radiohead have their objective faults, damn it.
