Have you seen this movie? Did you go to watch it just to criticize it, out of curiosity, or because, that evening, your "romantic" date stood you up? Whatever the reason, I'm reviewing it for you because, without beating around the bush, I liked it!

With the premise that that Tasmanian devil of Tarantino, I think he wanted to have fun with a whole array of personal fetishes, retro problematic shots, and feet as if they were raining, I'll start by saying that we're in agreement on the deliberate slowness... but is it really so unpleasant? In my opinion, no. We are now used to a "fast and furious" cinema and we have forgotten that there is no boom boom finale without a bit of healthy geriatric suspense.

Nothing can be said about the protagonists, Leonardo is always there, vigilant, present, arrogant from the height of his epic career; Brad (handsome and talented) gets on your nerves to the point you adore him, and if you have a dog, the next day you go out and buy tons of canned meat, just so you can imitate him at home and see your pet's eyes say to you "what the heck are you doing?"

I won't go on too long: fascinatingly slow, charmingly arrogant, adorable in not disappointing those who, every single time, point the finger at the recurring desire for "Tarantinian revenge": Quentin, with the finale, fulfilled the bloody revenge desires of several generations, even those to come...

If you haven't seen it, do so, even if only to be able to say: "yeah, but this isn't Tarantino!"

Oh, it is him alright, there's everything that amuses him the most in the world, including the criticism!
