THE REVIEW

Let me introduce you to a concert from 3 years ago, a pivotal event in my life as a stoner, the Queens Of The Stone Age concert in Milan, from the Songs For The Deaf tour, a dream come true.
Talking about the concert preliminaries, it risks drowning in the depressive-manic mess of the moment, a sort of existential metaphor of the fool who waits, waits, waits and finally...
And finally, the day in question had arrived, and with my Spartan friend named G., I went to the event, completely gratified and relaxed, the kind of claustrophobic panic about not arriving, not listening, and therefore not enjoying, a real apocalypse of the godless.
Anyway, after 50 hours on the train, since the cops had taken my car, I finally arrived with my Spartan-Sicilian friend, ready to enjoy the sonic spectacle, but alas, there appeared on the horizon a plump charming lady ready to get drunk with my nectar, but unfortunately, after half an hour before the concert spent talking to her, another guy swoops in and steals her away from me, unfortunately...
And so I'm left with the Queens, and in life, you have to learn to be content...
The live show begins, the first tracks are intense, reaching the peak with Sky Is Falling, a real frenzy... damn

And the finale is an amazing jam session, followed by tracks from the first album, the live was fantastic, the beat-driven mosh of my friend G., and my attempt to enjoy myself in other ways, all in all, perfect or almost, except for the remaining 50 hours on the train.

Bye salutos amigos, à bientôt, rigateur,
the important thing is not having Peppino Di Capri in your pants...
Ok amigos, it was worth not having him in the pants, yes...
