In the case of Queen, my very first favorite band, one could make a whole series of arguments, but everything can easily be summarized by getting to the heart of the matter: Queen have now become a true business. Proof of this is that in all the anthology albums released by their current label and in all those that have come out after the first two Greatest Hits, more or less, the same songs are always present.
An exception is Absolute Greatest, a fantastic anthology album released in November 2009. As far as I'm concerned, it is the definitive Greatest Hits. It includes many of the band's greatest classics: We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, These Are The Days Of Our Lives, A Kind Of Magic, and so on.
Highly recommended and unmissable, when it was released, it was available both in a standard edition and a deluxe edition, which consisted of a hardcover book (containing all the lyrics), and inside, two CDs: the first is the actual album, while the second is the Absolute Narrative, in which Brian May and Roger Taylor explain the genesis of the twenty songs included on the album.
