LA RECENSIONE

Artificial desires within your eyes

But don't think that escaping is impossible for us

(from “Generalista”).

The desire to escape from a society based on distorted values and a constant sense of inadequacy towards it; this is just an example of what Pyjamarama want to convey to us with the EP “Fuoco di sbarramento”.

An album, between punk and power pop, of five powerful and fresh tracks, united by the same feeling.

The EP opens with “Piazza Syntagma”, a love song in a time of crisis, followed by “Antidoto”, which deals with the real search for an antidote to the “poison” infecting this society where individuals only think of their own interests. It then continues with “Generalista” and “La mia armatura”, less angry but still sharp, and ends with a bang with “Pioggia acida”, perhaps the most aggressive of the album.
