Revived to a new (sexual) life and subsequently exhumed that (once) dangerous thing called Throbbing Gristle, Genesis P-Orridge deemed the time ripe to restore a studio discographic existence (since 1995, when "Trip Reset" came out, they hadn't materialized in this form) to their other creature, Psychic TV, on this occasion PTV3.
This happens with "Hell Is Invisible... Heaven Is Her/e", a work composed of ten long pieces of psychedelic exploration, whether it be in a post-punk, new wave, kraut rock, electro, funky, or trance scent. But this is the description any sound accountant could provide you.
I, on the other hand, like to highlight what is the "delight" experienced during the listening of the songs. Songs from which it emerges that the creation was experienced with a clear sense of boisterous participation (by all those involved, in various capacities, including Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Gibby Haynes of Butthole Surfers), though never with superficiality, not even when in "BB" it seems like hearing Billy Idol, or when, in the closing "Milk Baba" the Middle Eastern sounds are uncertain whether they are a playful excuse or a serious meditative/spiritual application, perhaps in support of their project of creating that hermaphroditic entity called Breyer P-Orridge, born from the union of the two halves that are Lady Jaye and Genesis themselves...
