Hazed Dreams is an album that makes you levitate, much like most psychedelic music. You fall to feel uplifted, then proceed like a slow-motion rain from the ground upwards.
Everything seems plausible in these evanescent motifs, these narcoleptic melodies, and these floating, vague lullabies, direct relatives of a setup reminiscent of Wooden Shjips, Moon Duo, and Spacemen 3, with natural allusions to the Velvet Underground; it could present itself as hallucinatory pop drowned in the echoes of droning and dreamy guitars with extremely desert-like, sometimes nocturnal traits. This music seems to constantly expand until it loses dimension and spills into five minutes of antimatter.
Released in 2011, it offers a small heap of songz that truly manage to drag you along, albeit with a psychedelic touch that is somewhat achy when compared to the acidified krautrock rides of its older brother Dins, which is probably one of the best psych albums of the last decade.
