I read an article in “City,” a free newspaper distributed in some Italian cities, that talked about two thirteen-year-old twin sisters who have been singing and playing since they were nine years old.
And so far, so good.
Until an additional description is added to the whole premise I made before: namely that they are two “neo-Nazis,” who in their songs praise the “white race,” “Rudolf Hess, a man of peace” (as they sing in the laudatory “Sacrifice”), who have adopted the “charming” face of Adolf Hitler as their logo, drawn in an elementary manner, complete with fashionable mustache, and that their astute father walks around with a belt where in the center, instead of a far more peaceful (and even on this I would express reservations) D&G, there is a “beautiful” swastika. Moreover, this good man always brands his cattle with swastikas, precisely to symbolize a “loyalty brand.”
In this whole story, however, there are two problems: the first is that, even in Italy, to emulate the father of these two daring little twins, a livestock breeder, an ex-Christian Democrat now dedicated to the House of Freedoms, will brand his beasts with the DC symbol and have his daughters sing at Buttiglione meetings.
The second problem (and now I want to be serious... even though it is impossible, given that this phenomenon seems like a joke, or a nightmare) is that the world, on a social level (but I don’t want to exclude the remaining arenas), is collapsing more and more.
I do not want to be banal, but it is essential not to underestimate this new musical phenomenon coming from the great forge of the United States, because if it became an epidemic, it could have devastating effects on teenagers (and not only). Therefore, it absolutely must not be further disseminated, especially in Europe.
After reading this article, I procured their album and wanted to review it, not letting myself be too influenced by their lyrics, but evaluating it as a whole.
First of all, I want to explain to you what “Prussian Blue” means. “Prussian Blue” is a residue of cyanide and is the result of the combination of hydrogen cyanide, a poison used in concentration camps, with iron.
And unfortunately, I regret to tell you dear friends of DeBaser, reading their forum, I noticed that there are also many fans who follow these two “Avril Lavigne of the Aryan race” and that in California (and not only) they are widely followed. But it doesn’t end here. The most serious thing is that “Prussian Blue” are destined to become a commercial phenomenon, a success, probably to be exported and served on a silver platter to an unconscious audience (be they teenagers or adults), with the disadvantage (and the consequent advantage for the fanatical father of the girls) of making numerous stupid proselytes.
This is even what is written on their forum (imagine the mediocrity out there): I really like this. The sound of the guitar reminds me of the band - The Cure!
Well, apart from the fact that musically The Cure have a far longer and wider experience than these “Prussian Blue” and then the album, from an aesthetic point of view, is mediocre.
They have rightly labeled this genre, halfway between folk and rock, “white rock” but unfortunately, beyond the “novelty” of the genre terminology, structurally no good music is heard. And I am not prejudiced. The sisters—who only help whites—who were affected by Hurricane Katrina—with the proceeds from their live activity—certainly have talent. But what makes you angriest is that they have been indoctrinated, manipulated, trained by stupid parents, victims of their mediocrity and their mental poverty, who can only act cleverly and by virtue of the god money (it’s useless to put it on the ideological level, they want to create novelty, sensation, scandal, hence a new money-making machine). But, mind you, I know precisely that this is not the first, nor will it be the last “Nazi ensemble.” There have been many others, but fortunately, they did not become commercial phenomena, but were reserved for small elites (see Skrewdriver)! This instead is destined to be one and will particularly affect the most vulnerable group: teenagers. And we must be wary. To safeguard our culture and true music (which is not made only of catchy melodies but, above all, of lyrics).
