Nerkiology is a collection of all the tracks from the first two (super-homemade) albums by Prophilax: "Voci dall'oltrechiavica," released in September 1991, and "Viaggio nella dimensione anale," released exactly one year later.
The need to present the old hits to fans in a more fitting way, and especially the desire to play them better, led to the release of this mega-album (almost 90 minutes of music - 21 songs) in March 1996.
Recorded with significantly superior means and digitally mixed, despite remaining an amateur product, it is light years ahead of the very rough recordings of the original versions.
This double CD remains the best proof of Prophilax, and if you don't believe us, try listening to "Cagatone joe," "Re arcù," "Ogni buco è buono," "Fateme pijà a patente," and all the others.
