LA RECENSIONE

IDENTITY CARD NO. AP 13595#!

Surname: Royal

First Name: Port-

Date of Birth: Around 2002. "Afraid to Dance" is from 2007.

In: Genoa.

Citizenship: Italian.

Residence: Now the world.

Marital Status: no collaborations are remembered, let's say all by themselves. But we could be wrong.

Profession: skilled electronic musicians / therefore children of the demon of sweet-disturbed frequencies, ohmygodsavemeifpossible.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND DISTINCTIVE MARKS

Height: given the ethereal/noisy nature of their postrock-electro-ambient, it would seem elevated. Suspensions of 6 meters from the ground or leaps through the brain's "nervous" doors, your choice.

Hair: that is, the tutelary deities that guide them from above: Labradford, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, "Dear Grandma and Granpa" by Tortoise, Massive Attack, "Incunabula" by Autechre, Aphex Twin. At least these are the major deities; maybe some group member might also like Baglioni.

Eyes: young, attentive, curious, clouded: every so often they watch basketball games between blurred atmospheres and sun glimmers. Like on the album cover.

Distinctive Marks: Not fundamental, but very interesting. If nothing else, someone in Italy today, perhaps echoing sounds already produced in the past, brings semi-new worlds to life. And for us, whether we are jogging, sprawled on the bed, or breathing in small sips on a terrace, it might be very pleasing. You know, every now and then a bit of slowed escape is necessary for the organism. And then, who doesn't like dizziness?

What Gordon Pym is doing in Genoa passing through the Black Sea, I’ll probably never know.

The sea stirs, the decadence (c’est magnifique!) disrupts sleep with its noisy percussion, the signal is distorted, we are now in open sea.
