Records of 2016 Part 2:
You are driving on a highway in a cold winter late '80s at 4 AM. The synthetic lights of the Apennine tunnels illuminate the interior, in a psychedelic play of shadows. Porches is lo-fi, bringing back a basic use of the synth in its disco-funk deviation, the bass lies beneath the atmospheric layer and hypnotizes the tired limbs. There are distinctly dream-like moments (Beach House) and some folk reminiscence (Grizzly Bear). This time the car, instead of ending up in the sea like in Kill For Love (Chromatics), manages to escape by plunging into a pool. Songs to feel under the skin: Be Apart, Hour, Car
