Among the first albums of the group that I have listened to in full. It immediately grabbed me with its intensity. The main theme is indeed love, but I find that compared to their other records, here it is treated in a particular and sweet way.
"Se Balla da Sola" is very radio-friendly, has good lyrics and is very catchy, which does not make it bad, quite the opposite.
"Mi Manchi" on the other hand I have always liked a lot, maybe because it echoes "La Donna del Mio Amico", but hearing Roby's keyboards and voice, accompanied by the drums, captivates me in an indescribable way. I am also emotionally attached to it.
"Quando lui ti chiederà di me" and "Io ti aspetterò" are great tracks, one very slow at times, almost like a monologue to be listened to in silence. The other is a new creation by the Canzian - D'Orazio duo, dedicated to Red's new wife. Let's say that I see myself in some parts of the lyrics, and this causes me to place it a bit higher.
Then we have "Sogno a mezza estate" and "Ricostruire un amore", both good. The former is even cheerful compared to the canon we are used to, and Dodi's solo... Well... there's no need to say more. The latter doesn't have a well-defined particularity, but the predominant keyboard notes and a small solo by Dodi make it more than good enough.
"Dimmi di sì" is the classic ironic and no-holds-barred song by Stefano, which might or might not appeal. It's not among my favorites but I don't discard it either.
"Quel che non si dice" has a particular, slow, beginning, which I like a lot. It is also quite a slow song, another little story to listen to, from the beginning of the relationship between the protagonist and his woman. Objectively good, but subjectively I say more than good.
"Eravamo Ragazzi" has the flavor of the Pooh of "Alessandra", almost adolescent. Or rather, indeed in the track, those times are remembered, with a sense of nostalgia but also of carefreeness.
"Ventimila leghe sotto il cielo" obviously references Verne's work in its title. I must admit this is the one that struck me the least.
Overall, "Un Posto Felice" is an 8-/10 album for me, I particularly like it and have a personal connection to it, and it is definitely among the best of those years regarding the Pooh.

The best track on the album and one of the best in their vast production: 'Ventimila leghe sopra i cieli,' a paraphrase of Jules Verne's novel describing a multi-sun, timeless world.
'Dimmi di si,' a low point in their repertoire, bordering on trash.

'Un posto felice' is an enjoyable work due to the mastery the Pooh had at that point in writing well-arranged and well-texted love songs.
'Se balla da sola' explains how to understand and treat a woman in a relationship, and 'Dimmi di sì' is an anthem to a night of fiery sex, by Stefano, the drummer.
