With this album, the Pooh could have closed their three-decade career, filled with great successes: from their first, 'Piccola Katy' (1968) to the two classics from three years earlier 'Amici per sempre' and 'La donna del mio amico'.
'Un posto felice' is an enjoyable work due to the mastery the Pooh had at that point in writing well-arranged and well-texted (meaning very well-written lyrics) love songs.
But this is a product that, in my opinion, will not stand the test of time, except for the first two singles that are interesting due to both the music and the lyrics: 'Se balla da sola' which explains how to understand and treat a woman in a relationship (and an unforgettable video in my life) and 'Dimmi di sì', an anthem to a night of fiery sex and beyond, by the most unleashed of the four, Stefano, the drummer.

The best track on the album and one of the best in their vast production: 'Ventimila leghe sopra i cieli,' a paraphrase of Jules Verne's novel describing a multi-sun, timeless world.
'Dimmi di si,' a low point in their repertoire, bordering on trash.

It immediately grabbed me with its intensity.
'Mi Manchi' captivates me in an indescribable way. I am also emotionally attached to it.
