This album—like others by Pooh from that period—is composed almost entirely by the duo Facchinetti - Negrini and is based on the symphonic rock style.
The first track "corri, corri" is entirely acoustic and sung as a duet by Roby Facchinetti and Dody Battaglia. The second, "ninna nanna," was the promotional single of the album. Also in symphonic pop style (note the heavy use of the orchestra), it is perhaps one of the most beautiful tracks on the record and is a sort of dedication to a hypothetical girl.
It then moves on to the album's only English piece, "Wild track". This piece has somewhat country rhythms, and the lyrics are perhaps the least ambitious of the album but still appreciable. The standout tracks of the album are undoubtedly the instrumentals where you can truly admire the musical potential of the group that knows how to blend light pop with symphonic rock; in tracks like "Quinta stagione" and, further back in time, in "Parsifal." "Cara bellissima" is the second single taken from the album and is styled like "Ninna nanna"; very pop and very intimate.
The album was underestimated just like the previous one "Un po del nostro tempo migliore" but I think it is instead very appreciable precisely for the sophisticated sounds that we find within it!
