The Poison follow that very radio-friendly heavy metal trend introduced with that multi-million selling album 'Back in Black' by AC/DC.
However, the Poison resemble the Motley Crue more than AC/DC, both in their appearance and their music. Being a band that doesn't invent anything new and instead borrows left and right, I won't elaborate too much on their description, also because I'm not really interested in writing a nice review.
This album is a collection of their most successful tracks and I won't linger on their description. It consists of heavy songs ("Nothing But a Good Time," "Cry Tough") mixed with classic metal ballads for the radio ("Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Something to Believe In"). There are two nice new tracks: "Sexual Thing" and "Lay Your Body Down."
I prefer this collection over their studio albums because they weren't that great, and to be honest, I've only listened to one ("Open Up and Say... Ahh!") but anyway, who cares. To conclude, since I don't really feel like writing more, I find this type of music very pleasant, fun, and easy to listen to.
Awaiting your usual insults.
Kisses, all the best
