LA RECENSIONE

Yesterday, I went to see my favorite Italian artist... Pino Scotto in Ornavasso, and I must say I was really satisfied with what I saw him do on stage.

The concert started with "Quore Di Rock 'n' Roll" to energize all the metalheads present at the event. Pino continued his concert by insulting Cesare Cremonini of Lunapop and subsequently provoking applause from the audience (including me). Pino continued with two pieces by Vanadium and then moved on to "Morta E' La Città," which is one of his most famous songs. Scotto also talked about Berlusconi and his rather questionable laws always in the raw and vulgar style of a rocker. To our prime minister, "Tempi Lunghi" was dedicated, which is another great piece by the singer-songwriter who comes from Naples.

During the show, Pino also gave space to his drummer and his guitarist during segments performed solely by the two of them without the vocalist.

Pino also managed to bring back his most beautiful song in my opinion... "Come Noi." For this song, the crowd went wild for the chorus. Another noteworthy piece sung by the rocker was "Il Grido Disperato Di Mille Bands," where the audience participated very actively.

In short, if you want to see what Italian rock is, you shouldn't go to see Ligabue and Vasco Rossi, but rather Giuseppe Scotto Di Carlo and his band.

Scotto's raw and provocative style, coupled with audience engagement and powerful songs, defines the authentic Italian rock experience. Political critiques, band solos, and fan-favorite hits made the concert memorable. The reviewer strongly recommends Scotto over more mainstream Italian rock artists.
