On his third solo effort, Piero Pelù begins to see the light again; there are some less successful moments, but it never reaches the levels of awfulness of his previous albums.
The songs unfold between a melodic yet non-trivial rock and electronics, which is more subtle compared to the album "U.D.S", allowing the songs to breathe.
Pelù also manages to sing better; he may no longer growl as he once did, but at least he achieves a commendable sobriety.
The singles "Prendimi così" and "Dea Musica" are among the best tracks, especially the latter, which momentarily seems to bring back the glory of the past (it strongly recalls the dark-Spanish vibes of "17 Re", while the lyrics echo the song "La musica fa" from the album "Spirito").
The album also features a cover, from the previously mentioned "17 Re", "Re del silenzio" transforms from the original version into an atmospheric ballad, yet remains quite effective. Lastly, the best track of the album, the excellent psychedelic ballad "Anche a piedi" written with Gianni Maroccolo (and it's noticeable), is characterized by a beautiful instrumental ending, very evocative.
