I really missed reviewing abominations of songs unknown to God and being taken seriously, so here I am. It's been 20 years since the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, and this Swiss but very Italian gem by Piero Esteriore needed to be dug up from the deep underground pit of horrible songs on the internet. What is really surprising is not so much his participation in Eurovision but how he managed to come first in the Swiss national selection and represent the entire country; and if the studio version of the song is vomit-inducing, just wait until you hear the live ESC version.
In March 2004, the Swiss Eurosong selections began and continued to choose the song that would represent the state at that year's ESC. In that edition, Antonella Lafortezza also participated, who was on Amici in I don't know what year (I’ll be lynched ciaociccia); in my opinion, Antonella may not be the most talented singer of the 2000s, but if Piero Esteriore and the Music ""Stars"" managed to rank first, leaving Antonella in sixth place, something is wrong.
Starting to judge this "song", if it can be called that, I would like to talk about the super-empty base, produced as if it were meant to become the theme song of a Venezuelan telenovela for children, not at all engaging, indeed I would dare to say embarrassing, just like the lyrics are, but we haven't even got to the worst part yet! Mr. Esteriore's vocals are to say the least irritating and annoying, it was torture just having to listen to it all to review it, not to mention the super maccheronic accent, and if we want to add something, the background singers are so awful at singing that it seems like they were picked up from the street and brought to Eurovision to sing on the same day, from their lack of enthusiasm in performing, or maybe it's just the total lack of talent.
The reason I wanted to review it is because I have no idea what to review and digging into my Eurovision memories I found this horror of music. byebye from #LaPiùOdiataDiDeBaser
