Long live coherence: age 14 for the creation I am trying to propose.

The contemporary pianist little-known in Italy Debora, debbie ' Petrina has recorded some previously unreleased piano pieces by Morton Feldman in the United States and in the Czech Republic\Prague for the American label OgreOgress, included in the deOpera. In a booklet published 55 years ago, Feldman himself [a great friend of the brilliant John Cage] provided biographical insights about his formative years: “When I was twelve... I was fortunate enough to end up under the exceptional tutelage of Madame-Maurine-Press."

I thought I was dealing with [then-functioning] I-pod mixes of Gregorian chants or thereabouts, but during my listening, amid Adagios IN Piano Sonatas and Preludes in a Bartók style - long live the classic Classics each tanz -, but with its own inventive touches, I found myself indefatigably disproven and enlightened. And how can I forget the three Folk Dances [which end and culminate in the personal dedication For Cinzia] where the harmony reigns of the black and white keys, followed by apt hall-registrations of Pièce ranging from candlelit slow waltzes.. to poliedric games and masterful touches in uneven tempos that open up an infinite phonetic sky from the canonical SOLB. And how, indeed, if in the bare listing of the composer from Cittadella [Padua] random scales do not haunt any thematic segment, there live pages of spirituality imbued with modern materialism!

Madame Maurine, I wish you were here in the 21st century. Adè-now.

These words come to mind, poor yet simple and true even when translated, about the Ambaradàn-Works: it shouldn’t take you long to find them on I-tunes.

-I, I am not a special boy, you know? I think I’m scared. Just like YOU, yes.

Once upon a time in America. The love of Noodles had a name, and that name is: Debora.

In a segment of the film, the one where they meet in the dance hall of a luxurious hotel in the Big Apple, you can hear the notes of: a piano, NOT BY CHANCE.
