I am fascinated by the fact that certain artists never stop searching for the right path to a musically pleasing structure to the ears of both the uninitiated and the knowledgeable. The internal quest of knowing where and how to reach people's hearts with few and very effective instruments, in this case, voice and double bass.

A good job done by Petra Magoni and Ferruccio Spinetti, engaged in reworking and rearranging several pieces from the past, managing never to fall into the banal, interweaving the rhythmic and diaphragmatic sections into a whole, in a perfect symbiosis of echoing dialogues installed on tracks, which convey that sense of fluid and simple linearity.

"Musica Nuda" will give you moments of carefree chat with friends, in front of a good glass of red wine, or alone, immersed between the pages of a book and a hot tea. Personally speaking, the tracks are all beautiful and substantial, with "Eleanor Rigby" as the opener, followed immediately by the splendid "Roxanne", poignant and deep. With "Prendila Così" a beautiful tribute to Lucio Battisti, the album's fabric becomes increasingly delicate, moving on to other tributes to the greats of the past, both foreign and Italian, such as Jobim, Gimbel, the great Monteverdi, and again Lennon, McCartney, Malgoni, Pallesi. Piece by piece, tile by tile, the design will close in a play between classical, jazz, and pop.

In short, an experiment that leaves a mark, recorded in a single afternoon for a modest amount of 800 euros, with a sales result approaching 15,000 copies. When the music is good, it conveys emotions, great, strong, deep emotions that go beyond the classic clichés, and I hope that with these few and simple lines, they have reached you a little too.

Good music to everyone.
