THE REVIEW

Well, after a long absence as a reviewer, I've decided to turn the page for the first time to the genre of music I have to offer here. A CD that, after 20 years, still enjoys great fame, and the artist is no less; indeed, a pillar of the global music scene, and nearly 20 years after his death, he is still a legend.
Ladies and gentlemen, Peter Tosh and his most perfect live performance: "Complete Capture Live"!

Peter Tosh, former member of the "Wailers" and friend of Bob Marley, with his reggae spanning the '70s and '80s, became one of the most important figures, expressing his total dissent against war and racism and advocating the legalization of soft drugs worldwide. Perhaps that's why he was killed! Loved and hated to the point of madness simultaneously: he who became the absolute king of reggae after Marley's death.

"Complete Capture Live" is a double CD or a double vinyl recorded in August 1982 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. By the way, there is also the DVD! A beautiful 90-minute live concert featuring his best hits: "Creation," "Coming In Hot," "Not Gonna Give It Up," "Rastafari Is," "Glass House," "Equal Rights," "Bush Doctor," "Jhonny B. Goode," "Get Up, Stand Up," and "Mama Africa."
In short, it is highly recommended not only for reggae fanatics but also for rock enthusiasts, as it has an enormous energetic impact right from the first listen. In my opinion, the one that leaves you breathless, without detracting from the others, is "Rastafari Is." Imposing, catchy, hypnotic, spiritual with its Dub influences, it reminds us of Africa as Mother Nature created it and not to mention its length (10 minutes).
As for the grand finale of the show, it's one emotion after another with "Bush Doctor," "Jhonny B. Goode," "Get Up, Stand Up," and "Mama Africa" following each other in rapid succession. In short, pure primordial mystical energy for a double that should absolutely not be missing from any collection. And if you have the DVD, lucky you!
