Perturbazione, third album, third step in the climb to the labels (from ON/OFF Records to the current Mescal). Many eyes are on the six from Turin, great anticipation for a new "Agosto." Artistic production by Paolo Benvegnù, while here and there appear friends from the Italian indie scene to add a touch and encourage.

Before this work, there was talk of a classic pop "tinged" with indie influences, direct and contagious.
The path leads us to a confirmation: no marked upheaval, a sound that has materialized becoming recognizable. It feels like coming home. After a long time. "A nice piece of life" to quote from the CD notes.
A piece of life that has matured them, made them less "rough", compacted the sounds and polished the songs. Like wind over a landscape, like the sea flowing over rocks. Like Cerasuolo's whispered voice, which monotone, never over the top, manages to convince and captivate, accompanying as if he were the friend you rediscovered "ten years later." The one who tells you about the world that acted and squandered, the streets that become cages.

Time is the essential dimension of the CD: time as regrets, as wrong choices, loves to end, memories to combat decay.
Little room for light moments: the amusing "Se Mi Scrivi" is a buoy of sunshine in an autumn sky. But it's still sweet to be lulled by those liquid guitars, by Elena Diana's cello that glides in the intense moments, to underline and push. Songs to hum, with choruses often for "single", that soon convince even if they manage to enter the heart little by little, showing their worth in resisting repeated listens, coming to mind when you need the soundtrack for your solitary walks as a thirty-something, or in any case as a "young old" who has to face something or himself.

"Agosto" perhaps doesn't exist: at first, everything seems beautiful but not memorable.
Then you sense a certain balance, like a boundary traversed without swerving, without falling into the banal.
And there's nothing left to do but press Play again.

The lyrics seem to come from the pen of a dreamer who plays full-time at being a poet.

'Animalia' is one of the most successful, most beautiful and even less predictable pieces.
