The unsuspecting creature is intent on listening to the silence.
Suddenly, something begins to emerge from the silence.
Sounds, perhaps.
Yes, sounds.
He hears something.
Tangible sounds.
His body is still on the earth, but his mind is drifting away, quickly, carried by something... or someone?
He tries to pull it back.
But now it is too far away to catch it again.
"Void.
Nothing?
Nothing.
No one?
No one.
Where?
In the abyss.
Space?
Abyss!
Space."
In the deepest space, where soon he gets lost, seeking a way out.
He doesn't find it.
Seeks...
Finds?
"Something.
No.
Someone?"
He meets here a strange character, who immediately begins to speak and interact with him.
"Sounds. Words?"
He inexplicably fails to understand anything he listens to.
Perhaps he is not even listening.
Perhaps he cannot even hear.
But now there is no longer any need to interpret the sounds, to make sense of them, to ensure they are sounds.
The meaning of the words no longer matters: what counts is that now there is someone with him, and this makes him a little less frightened.

Slowly... he sets aside all his doubts, his fears, and his insecurities, to follow without hesitation the cosmic being, or shadow, or hallucination that it may be, which immediately accompanies him into the depths of an endless place.
