LA RECENSIONE

In the pre-Christmas period when everyone is rushing to be nicer than usual, a touch of magic was needed...
Here it comes through the enchanted hands of that little man with a somewhat orcish look known as Pascal Comelade.
"La mètode de rocanrol" is the title of his new creation, where his seemingly simple compositions take us to another world and another time. Indeed, there he is, as usual, hopping from one melody to another, from one instrument to another.
An author of an endless discography, he has become famous (so to speak) for his covers of famous 20th-century songs masterfully played with toy instruments and an album with PJ Harvey; here he is presenting a record of personal compositions.
He himself cannot define the genre, simply calling it "musique", but it is certain that the minor chords and a certain air of melancholy typical of French chanson and traditional Breton (like Tiersen... voilà!) have a certain prevalence.... if one dares to attempt a definition.
Yes, there he is, playing a kazoo, then a bicycle bell, then a classical piano... and on top of that a small yellow plastic one, while in the room you can see trumpets with glitter (the carnival ones) and small guitars no longer than 30 cm in moplen with metal strings.
Someone who includes both his discography and participation in the inauguration of streets dedicated to Marcel Duchamp in his biography. Someone who founded the "Pascals" to reinterpret his compositions. Collaborates with Capossela in "Canzoni a Manovella" and, at times, designs his own covers.

This is Pascal Comelade, Catalan, musician.

Someone who can make your life better. Someone passionate who loves and knows how to do his job.
