THE REVIEW

" The most absurd, elusive, visionary album, very close to the limit of endurance, that I have never managed to listen to in its entirety? "

Parson Sound. Easy!

Incredible work generated from a series of sessions from 1967 to 1968, in Sweden.

To listen to this work 3D glasses are indispensable. Mandatory.

Without them, we are overwhelmed by a flood of sounds in full swing. A continuous flow of psychedelia, jazz, minimalism, raga, drone music, guitars, bass, drums, pre-recorded tapes, ethnic music, feedback, clarinets, noises, freedom, madness, late 60s, and also an inevitable tachycardia.

A flow, an endless interweaving, a unique incomprehensible sound block. It's a daunting task to keep up with it, to follow its trajectories, the flights of fancy of notes that only enlightened minds could have generated and care little for others' understanding.

Let's put on the 3D glasses

We almost lose our breath. Chills down the spine.

The sound takes shape. We can almost touch it, it comes towards us, takes us by the hand, and shows us the way. It leads us along melodies with trajectories that were invisible before but now evident, detaching themselves from the sound magma, flying far away, looking at us from above, only to be reshaped into new forms that transform before our eyes.

The figures of Velvet Underground, Terry Riley, Steve Reich, the Third Ear Band of "Alchemy", the tribe of Amon Düül, Agitation Free, Oriental musicians, unknown characters, strange characters materialize.

They all dance, embrace, form a single sound body, which in turn envelops us in a lysergic embrace.......... An incredible thing, indescribable in words!

"Nice these 3D glasses, but were they invented by Albert Hoffman?"
