 The Para... could somehow be considered the Mexican answer to Mortician and with this, I could close the review. In reality, they are not exactly a clone, the horror themes are abandoned in favor of porno-carcassian lyrics (strictly in the mother tongue) as the images of the booklet might suggest, which smoothly move from an autopsy to dilated anuses to well-endowed transsexuals, just to name a few. Well, what else is there to say? We have the usual movie intros, which, moreover, have nothing to do with the lyrics, incomprehensible vocals (I even have the suspicion that the vocalist actually emits random sounds, booklet in hand I cannot follow it) and very low, slow parts alternating with fast ones. Unfortunately, for a band of this genre, the slow parts are the ones that work the best, also due to a rough recording: the guitar is anemic and the sound of the drums (not drum machine) is too prominent, while the voice tends to cover everything. Compared to Mortician, it must be said, there is a greater variety in the sound proposal but we all know that’s not hard.

In conclusion, the classic group not very technically skilled that follows already tested graphic and sound patterns, but at least without pretensions. Harmless.
