You were in Slint (who?).
Then in Tortoise (cool!).
M, Aerial M, Papa M.... The last one is good. Until when?

You play what you know. Namely indie-post-rock-instrumental-semi-lo-fi.
One note at a time (Arundel), gentle guitars with feedback breezes (Pink Holler), airy melodies (Up North Kids), loops & interweavings that nail you down for a quarter of an hour (I Am Not Lonely With Cricket - even though it seems so to me).

Billy Corgan calls you to play in Zwan.
You make an album, a tour.
You get tired, you leave and take the bassist with you.

Too cool.

Dave Pajo and his crystalline, fragrant touch.

A cross between Verlaine and Stendhal that, in this album, places itself between the Red of twilight and the Black of night to paint romances without words.
