LA RECENSIONE

TEATRO AURORA DI SCANDICCI - LIVE OF PAOLO FRESU AND URI CAINE - February 2007

PAOLO, a small figure who sometimes, in profile, looks like an archer ready to release the arrow... and other times, when he raises the flugelhorn upwards, one of the winds from the hosts of the heavens...

URI, with his enveloping and syncopated swing, tirelessly weaves a rough and robust sonic carpet on the piano, vigorously plowing the ground for FRESU's mute.

The strong and rumpled CAINE and the finesse of the Sardinian trumpet, in a successful "CHEEK TO CHEEK"... And to "SE DOMANI"... and "emphasize if"... "L'AURORA" became tangible!
