Paola Iezzi, one half of the duo Paola&Chiara (active from 1997 to 2012), after some attempts at her solo career and a few years of silence, in the summer of 2016 releases the single "lovenight" produced by none other than Steve Anderson (already producer and artistic director for Kylie Minogue).
Paola returns after a few years of silence since her first EP and comes out with this single that entertains, surprises, and pleases; a pop-dance sound typical of Kylie Minogue (whom she loves, by the way) but also a sound typical of Paola&Chiara: danceable, electro, direct, very catchy. "Lovenight" talks about love in all its senses and the freedom that a human being feels about it.
The single, released on June 24, 2016, already becomes a summer hit the next day as well as a new anthem for the LGBT community that Iezzi obviously has always supported and helped; years have gone by since the duo, but Paola says she continues to care for her sister Chiara despite their careers having separated as they have become women.
"Lovenight" will surely be part of Paola Iezzi's first solo album, which is in the works and expected by the end of 2016.
What can I say, this 2016 never ceases to surprise us, and we hope that soon there will be an Iezzi - Minogue duet, it would truly be a bombshell sexy collaboration.
