The most beautiful album by our sisters Iezzi (Paola & Chiara) in my opinion is "Win the Game" from 2007; two years after their first Greatest Hits.
Paola & Chiara have grown up, they are no longer children and they really want to seek a vida nueva. "Win the Game" can undoubtedly be compared to Madonna's "Confessions on a Dancefloor" or Kylie Minogue's "Fever"! 10 tracks in English, except for two in Italian (which are ballads by the way) that range between dance, pop, and electronic music, mega hits for the clubs, which in some cases also recall 80s sounds.
It starts with two singles "Vanity & Pride" and "Second life", both dance and electronic, very Madonna's confessions; "Secret" instead is very Kylie Minogue, the style is indeed noticeable. "Cambiare pagina" is the album's ballad, a stunning song, a masterpiece that temporarily interrupts the thrilling rhythm of this wonderful project. "Rumors", "I can't forget", "Marphine", continue this journey through European clubs, electro/80 music, and urban. "Tu sei il mio futuro" and "99 %" close Paola & Chiara's album, achieving perfection!
The English songs obviously also have their version in English which is the cherry on top.
Let's say the album was a success especially in the gay-oriented environment, of course taking some inspiration from two icons of the alternative world as mentioned; however, it must be said that the Iezzi sisters have created something truly special that perhaps wasn't even in "Television" & "festival".
It's a pity they stopped here and a few years later "Milleluci" came out, I would have hoped for more projects like "Win the Game".
