First album from this Argentine singer-songwriter, born in one of the poorest neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, who arrived in Italy about 10 years ago.

Our Pablo has always listened to De André, Guccini, Tenco, Celentano... and it shows.

Only 10 songs, as the tradition of singer-songwriter albums dictates, and many words; many beautiful words, real poems that the "OUR" sets to music with simple guitar chords and a few splashes of soft electronics here and there.

To most, the name Pablo Ciallella won't say much, even though last summer radios often played the first single "Dura la Vita a Milano Città"; practically a talking track that matches the end of Pablo's love story due to his discovered betrayal with the difficulty of integrating into a city like Milan that offers little in terms of work and career. A very simple song in structure but with a chorus that instantly sticks in your head: "...Dura la vita a Milano città, se non sei nessuno e nessuno in regalo niente di da..!!!.."

The second song of the album is "Mi manchi" which, despite a somewhat banal title, is full of sweet poetry and amorous mysticism that makes it one of the most beautiful love songs of 2007: "..all the love made like a prayer..!!" The third song is "Rincoglionito"; a hilarious song that describes CONFUSION as a state of grace to be proud of; this piece too is a kind of rap talking worthy of the best Gaber (with due proportions and cautions...!!..)

"La lavatrice" and "Le cartine della nonna" are two classic guitar and voice songs where the music is in the background and the singing takes the lead: Blues in the former, where it is told that in a couple's life the element of union between man and woman is still the washing machine, an instrument of union, quarrel, sex, etc., and more folkish the latter where Pablo prefers .." grandma's rolling papers...(Maria).. over reality TV and trash TV.

"Alla fermata dell'autobus" is perhaps the most predictable piece; classic rock that opens with an electric guitar that greatly resembles the beginning of "SULTANS OF SWING" by Dire Straits, well, neither good nor bad. "Fastfood Universale" is the third single; a great piece, raw rock with a very sharp text about today's society "..welcome to the universal fast food, where man lives like an animal, where we end up settling for better or worse, welcome to the universal fast food..!!!... Fast, convenient, you need a strong stomach."

But let's get to the three gems of the album:

"Penso a te": a small love song guitar and voice, very reminiscent of De Gregori's "Raggio di Sole".. and it's truly the sun that enters your room when the notes and words of the piece gently caress the listener's senses.

"Depressione Blu": pure psychedelia, an acid song that, listen after listen, penetrates into your head and hardly leaves.

"L'albero delle canzoni": a song that talks about drugs using music as the only salvation to get out of the tunnel... spine-chilling!!!..

In short, a Great debut for a singer-songwriter who will surely make a name for himself. The only negative note: The COVER, really dreadful but if the content is so special and precious, it can be overlooked.... Highly recommended!!!!!....
