A rumor is humming that Nolan is preparing a trilogy based on Otomo's Akira. If true, it would really be a fucking disaster. Americans doing remakes: enough. Americans stealing great stuff from other countries: enough. Nolan getting tangled up in a brain-splitting film: enough. Nolan ruining himself because he’s an idiot: enough. It’s fine that money is money, but there’s something called "dignity," and by being blindly praised, Nolan continues to confuse it with an itch in his ass.
