MUSIC AT 15
At 15 (1980), I was in the throes of my musical passion, having a blast buying records and discovering new musicians that my peers rarely listened to.
When I bought this vinyl by Random Hold titled Etceteraville, new, boundless horizons opened up for me. This is a record that I could never share with anyone because none of my friends knew, understood, or appreciated them—what a waste!
Random Hold, vocals
David Rhodes, guitars
Bill MacCormick, bass
Peter Phipps, drums
David Ferguson, keyboards
Peter Hammill, producer
The producer was supposed to be Peter Gabriel, who supported and highly appreciated them, but then due to his many commitments, he made way for Peter Hammill.
