Super hot African weather, it seems there's no end in sight, and in fact, it's going to get even worse, especially in Northern Italy. Both the record for the hottest single day ever in the POST-FERRAGOSTO period, the +36° in 2011 in Milan, and the absolute PRE-FERRAGOSTO record of 38° from 2003 are at risk, but especially the record for consecutive days over 33° post-FERRAGOSTO, which is 9 days from 2011.
