Today I happened to hear an old song by Joy Division (I've never really liked them much). I wondered why people would drug themselves to death to produce music that, for today, is truly taken for granted. And perhaps, it was taken for granted even back then.
I find drug use (in a general sense, of course) to be conducive to music only in the 60s.
It’s a very superficial discussion on the surface and also in the way I’ve presented it. I’m aware of that. But it seems to me that these substances no longer bring anything new, as their "innovative" power ran out 50 years ago.
