Peregrine question: what do you think of all those characters who occasionally appear in the review area, some even years after their registration or last review, mostly to review books, sometimes films, and very rarely music? Generally, they do not respond to any criticisms, or they reply with bored notes written by themselves that, this is my personal impression, look down on us from above without even trying to understand why we are here, why we talk about something we like or dislike, why we joke around while they spend the best of their lives critically illustrating the latest pre-suicide work of the famous (to him) Indonesian off-core director, wondering why such a chef d'oeuvre hasn't received unanimous approval from the theaters.
Don't make me name names; you can find dozens of them, then click on their nick and discover that they probably registered, temporibus illis, solely to post reviews of books or films without ever interacting in any way with the site or its users, evidently judged by them as minus habens to be educated. If you try to interact, in the best cases they will comment with two bored lines full of specific terms from the addressed discipline but lack a minimum of empathy or participation in any human doubt that might arise for the onlooker, perhaps inexperienced but eager for information.
Am I exaggerating?
