I was thinking about this this afternoon after catching a glimpse of the 314th review of the first Velvet on casapagina. I swear I hadn't read it before formulating the thought I’m about to share with you! In my opinion, the problem of these countless duplicate reviews is that the site doesn’t have a dedicated space for those who want to express an opinion about the site. Or rather, maybe there is, like the listening section (where you can only post one track), or the de-collections (which are rarely used), or even the editorials (this has also been done unfortunately). So I wonder, why not create a space for "thoughts," "opinions," where aspiring writers can share everything that the album in question evokes in them without necessarily creating yet another duplicate review? Because then – among many problems that might be underestimated – when someone from outside goes to read a review, they find themselves facing 548,000 reviews of the same album and don’t know which one to choose. I hope I’ve expressed my thoughts clearly and concisely, but I suspect it may not be so. In any case, I would love to read some opinions on this!
