At this point, you have all heard the news of the day: in the atmosphere of Venus, there is a molecule (phosphine) that, on Earth, is associated with biological activity. Of course, we haven't discovered life on Venus yet, but it's an important result that needs to be confirmed and then compared with various hypotheses: not only the possible presence of life but also the fact that there may be some chemical process on Venus that we do not know about, capable of producing phosphine.
We will see how this matter continues to unfold. But this morning at dawn, when I looked at Venus, I couldn't help but see it a little differently.
