Question: You trace back to the Big Bang, do you have evidence of this explosion, this Bang?

Answer: Yes, we have traces of this Bang; we have traces that essentially tell us... they give us an image of the universe of how it was IMMEDIATELY AFTER... this Bang. We have observers that allow us to study the radiation that was emitted in the FIRST INSTANTS, and by studying this, we understand what happened --- etc etc...

AWFUL!!! When pop culture becomes a falsehood!

The capitalizations are mine... they should have been highlighted instead and perhaps briefly explained so that simplification doesn't become a gigantic misunderstanding...

Especially coming from a communicator of an important state entity like the INFN... who just glosses over it...
Because one thing is having SEEN the beginning; another thing is having seen the moments following the BEGINNING.
