For those who were disappointed by the Melvins/Helmet of recent years, this band from Richmond is a great alternative. Not only do they reinterpret the sludge of the former and the jagged noise filled with surgical stop-and-go of the latter, but they also make a decent use of jazz-flavored samples. Try it to believe it.
