In the latest issue of Musicajazz, Riccardo Bertoncelli reviews the INTEGRAL SOUNDTRACK of the film TRUE STORIES, released by Criterion with a delay of 32 years. The double Blu-ray with the original film and a ton of bonus features seems to be available only in the USA. Here, however, you can find the CD with the complete soundtrack in stores, which has also remained mysteriously unreleased for 32 years.
I'm going through a rough patch both work-wise and financially, so I can't even remotely think of buying it. I’ll download it as soon as I can. But you psychokillers who make it to the end of the month... think about it. I believe it's a great buy. I remember really enjoying the 1986 film. Bertoncelli (or a priest spouting nonsense) claims it holds up well over time, meaning it’s still a brilliant film today. I agree.
Best regards to all!
