I wanted to recommend a beautiful movie I watched last night: Kill The Messenger aka La regola del gioco. A film released in 2014, directed by Michel Cuesta and based on the true story of Gary Webb (Jeremy Renner), the journalist who, in the mid-nineties, uncovered the connections between the CIA and the Nicaraguan Contra rebels and the intertwining of this story with the 'war on drugs' and drug trafficking from Nicaragua to the United States, which ultimately contributed to the end of Clinton's presidency (never mind the Lewinsky affair; the story of Clinton’s preference for being played like a fiddle is old news and was already part of the chronicles by the late eighties, only the Republicans nominated Dan Quayle, who was the dumbest man in history: Dan Quayle) - Wikiquote A well-known story, but told very well in a film that rightfully honors Webb, who tragically died by suicide in 2004...
