"Raw" piece, but a masterpiece of pure class: at 1:27, the flickering guitar reminds us of the 1883 Krakatoa eruption, which we witnessed from a safe distance at the Eur mushroom, but with more style. The keyboard overture is anthology-worthy, with patterns drawn from Aeschylus, over which a melodic voice is layered. The heart tightens listening to this lullaby for the millionth time. Almost a lullaby for the last romantics: flickering in that shabby suburban diner, while the waitress on roller skates serves us yet another coffee, stretched out with a sweet and weary smile.
