One day, an Austrian boy decided it was time to put an end to it. No more respecting conventions, things, the opera in Italian, principles, that sort of stuff. It was time to say what he had inside. What he had inside is something I will never forgive him for. It’s called Zauberflote. And it’s the beginning - for me - of many things. Many years later, on a website, I find this version. And as I watch it, I am uncertain. Should I shake my head and say: I thought I had seen it all? Or should I laugh like a madman? I still don’t know. Then - maybe - there’s someone who still doesn’t know this wonder. Or perhaps they do. And they help me decide. In the meantime, I’ll put it here.
