This is a fairy tale that they say is more or less how I portray it in a film. I believe it's "Pan's Labyrinth."
A long time ago, in the underground kingdom where lies and pain have no meaning, there lived a princess who dreamed of the human world, dreamed of the blue sky, the gentle breeze, and the brightness of the sun. One day, deceiving her guardians, she escaped. But just outside, the rays of the sun blinded her, thus erasing her memory. The princess forgot who she was and where she came from; her body forgot the cold, the illness, the pain, and in no time, she died. But the king was certain that the princess would return, perhaps in another body, in another place, at another time. He was determined to wait for her until his last breath, until the world stopped turning.
