whole lotta love - Cerca con Google Zeppelinian notes. Atlantic senses the scent of unprecedented success and pushes for a new album immediately to strike while the iron is hot. The guys maintain a grueling pace from January to September, performing over 100 concerts in 6 tours. Thus, Led Zeppelin II is recorded in fits and starts between London, Los Angeles, New York, and Vancouver, in between tours from May to September. The pressure from Atlantic is overwhelming; the album must be released right after summer. Witnessing such a frantic production is the famous sound engineer Eddie Kramer: "The tapes were coming in from everywhere; we worked in every hole we could book. It was a wild time; the band was extremely loud. I left them the depraved aspect of the matter."
