"The Ultimate Sin", "L'ultimo Peccato", intriguing as a title.
Second album with Jake E. Lee, second semi-flop, although here the work presents itself a bit better than "Bark At The Moon" and a bit more catchy.
A fundamentally hard rock album, with which Ozzy continues his solo career, neither infamous nor praiseworthy.
This album doesn't have any particular qualities, but within it, we find tracks of great craftsmanship, "Killers Of Giants" or the very famous "Shot In The Dark", truly beautiful (the video is a bit too glam) but a great song, and then the title track itself.
There's not much more to say about this album, apart from the fact that the collaboration between Ozzy and Jake yielded better results than at the beginning, and here Jake showed a good amount of his talent.
The rest of the songs present themselves as normal (at times modest) hard rock tracks, without shining too much.
This album ultimately relaunched Ozzy towards longevity, even if it is not a masterpiece, and certainly geared him up for a better pace compared to the previous work.
