I was surprised while looking at this bizarre site that Ozzy Osbourne's latest masterpiece aka "Scream" wasn't there yet.
The album in question is a very different work from those previously made by the madman, the record was produced without his usual guitarist Zakk Wylde but together with a Greek named Gus G.
The record starts with "Let It Die" which is an Hard Rock piece like we haven’t seen in years, in this track the lunatic claims to be everything that exists but hints at wanting to stop singing (a contradiction to the song from the previous album "I Don't Wanna Stop").
The work continues with "Let Me Hear You Scream," a track that many enjoyed but I found a bit boring compared to the others on the record, with lyrics that are somewhat insignificant.
It moves forward with "Soul Sucker" and "Life Won't Wait," the former says little as a song while the latter is a protest against a world that is in constant progress but, in reality, is regressing (this track truly moved me in terms of lyrics).
The further you go, the more the work involves you and "Diggin Me Down" and "Crucify" are no less engaging even if not as beautiful as the previously mentioned protest piece. "Fearless" and "Time" are other excellent tracks with fantastic lyrics, masterfully interpreted by Ozzy.
The album isn't bad even at the end thanks to an "Extreme" and claustrophobic piece, namely "Latimer's Mercy" and the touching "I Love You All" where he declares his farewell to his music career.
However, Ozzy Osbourne will never die.
