THE REVIEW

There's little to say about this mini-album.
These are live recordings captured during the support tour for "No Rest For The Wicked", featuring: Ozzy (him as always), Zakk Wylde (new addition - at the time - to the madman's lineup), Geezer Butler (from Black Sabbath), and Randy Castillo (drummer from his previous two albums).

By itself, the record is not very interesting, but still, if you are followers of the madman, you will find interesting insights, including "Bloodbath in Paradise" and "Shot in the Dark", especially the latter, played by Zakk who takes quite a few "liberties live" compared to the studio version by J.E. Lee.
Ozzy himself, if I recall correctly, stated that this is his favorite version of the song.
The rest of the album (including two Sabbath songs) is simply neither here nor there.
We already know the songs because we find them on the other albums, and the performances are not particular. That's it, period.
Recommended only to the most die-hard Ozzy fans who won't miss out on adding to their album collection, otherwise forget it, as this live might be completely insignificant to you.

Summary by Bot

Just Say Ozzy is a live mini-album from Ozzy Osbourne's No Rest For The Wicked tour featuring notable musicians like Zakk Wylde and Geezer Butler. While it offers unique live takes on songs such as "Shot in the Dark," the rest of the album is fairly standard and mostly appealing to dedicated Ozzy fans. Casual listeners may find little value in this release.
